Thought you guy's might get a kick out of this guy, 180mph past a Leo and he did absolutly nothing? The guy was ridding totally crazy too 150mph inbetween cars? I mean I love my bikes and I race them and I love to race fast too but, in closed course comp, not taking my life into my hands on the freeway ya know? I can't beleive the Leo on the right hand shoulder perhaps shooting laser didn't go after him, totally amazed me??

Not saying I dislike speed if so I wouldn't be on this forum guy's. Although I guess this is what Leon from blinder means and Veil guy when he says "Still driving reasonable you know?" And not taking it above and beyond, it was a good laugh, but I don't think it would have been so funny if the guy would have ate it and died, then all they would do is pass more anti-motorcyclist laws, and the AMA would have to spend yet more $ fighting for our rights because someone didn't have the sense to drive fast, and do it safe ya know?

Just my .02. But check out this vid for yourself.. The Leo is on the Right hand shoulder in a black car about halfway through the video. Look's like maybe a charger, and maybe he was standing outside shooting lidar, not positive though??

Because there is no way a police car could catch a bike going that fast. The only thing he might be able to do is radio ahead if there was a car nearby but if the biker saw the LEO they most likely are already getting off a exit and going into hiding.

That was my only thought was that he didn't think he could catch him maybe wow interesting that your seeing the same thing i noticed. Maybe it pays to have a vette then that can do 200mph ? What do you think note? Not condoning his actions by anymeans you already know my thoughts on that..

By the time the cop put his lidar away, jumped in his car, started it up and pulled into traffic the biker would have been 3-4 miles away by then. Then you gotta accelerate to catch up to him.

I am not sure what the laws are but some places require the officer maintain constant visual on the suspect to protect themselves in court from potentially pulling over the wrong person.

Also the cop was probably thinking yeah you think you got away, i'll mop you up later.

How do we know how fast he was traveling? What kind of bike was that?

The speedometer was shown in the video the whole time, bottom left corner. It's an LED readout.
You can also tell because of the speed he was passing other cars/scenery.
