Default Problem - rd going off almost non-stop

I recently purchased a Cobra XRS 9345 for my sport bike. I use it in my Tacoma also and it works fine. However, when I put it on my motorcycle the laser goes off almost non-stop. I have it hard wired straight from the battery (fused).

Anyone have any suggestions on what is causing the problem?

Here are two pictures, you will need to remove the space in the http to see them though. I don't have 15 posts so I can't insert the pictures.

Cobra's are manufactured to an incredibly low quality and are junk. When subjected to the vibrations of a motorcycle, I would think it would turn right into dust. So, the vibrations may have probably effected the hardware, like a solder joint or something, and hence the falsing.

Could also be electrical inference, that it doesn't experience on the windshield of your truck.

Hard to tell from the pictures, but do you have it mounted along that windscreen?

Thanks, after messing around with it some while installing hid's I found out that it was the ground location. Now that I moved the ground I can't get the laser to go off by revving the engine anymore.

Unfortunately I can't view your picture, this site won't allow new members to view pictures.

It is mounted just to the side of the windscreen, behind the plastic (hidden).

Is it level? Parallel to the ground?

No, it is about a 30 degree angle. Display is on the high end.

Although you will not be able to read it, for better detection, I suggest bending the bracket as shown on page 2 on the manual. It's up to you though.
