Default 92.3 Extreme Radio Rover's Morning Glory

Today on the show they were talking about speeding tickets, jammers, detectors, etc. Well an Elyria cop by the name of Joe (you can hear the diapatcher on the background) called and said that when X amount of cars on speeding on the passing lane they always pull over the last car just because it is the easiest to hunt down. He also said that he does not know of any jammer that can jam laser. He said that detectors are useless because in Lorain county they use laser. He said that he does not bother with using his radar anymore because laser is so much easier and much more effective to use. He was cool as hell. He said that his city rarely sets speed traps and that the only time that they do is when the state mandates them which ususally is 4 hours at a time. I will email Rover to educate him on speed countermeasures

Why would you want to educate the cop? Once the cops realize that jammers actually work they will find reasons to pull you over and ticket you for stupid stuff because they know laser jammers aren't illegal. I've been harrassed and pulled over for made up reason just because the cop saw I had a radar detector. Just think how pissed they would be to find out you have a jammer. I don't live in your state though, so I don't really care.

Good point. I wont email the radio station. It was funny because the cop had NO IDEA that jammers that worked actually existed

Maybe RMR should stick around. Cops will continue to think that radar detectors and laser jammers don't do anything because of RMR.

happy, that happened to a friend of mine. cop was coming on the opposite side of the highway, and the friend was in the back of a line of 4 or 5 cars, all at around 90. cop pulled him since he was the easiest catch after making a u-turn.

That is why it is great to have a rabbit to follow and a caboose to take it in the rear (with a ticket).

You dont need all that if you have the X50 because the X50 would give you 20 second more warning than the V1
