Just in time for my planned trip back to Atlanta to visit the folks (and the wife's medical conference).

Thanks for the note, I'll have to keep an eye on this one.....

Not that I'd likely venture above 85 MPH, anyway, on even open highways, since I'll have baby-Anna in the back.

I need one of those suction-cup mounted warning diamonds that reads "BABY ON BOARD = NO RACE!"

So GA has been ineffective in controlling speeders, and wants to create a new class of speeders "Super Speeders" and raise fines. I have a problem with this applying to folks who exceed the speed limit by as little as 16 MPH (example of 86 in a 70 MPH zone in the Interstate)

I only hope that the law makers will show a little sense, and maybe come up with something effective, but less knee jerk. How about more police on the roads? How about a better PS ad campain?

My apologies for posting another news story on this subject. However, I didn't do so without reading or searching. The story I posted was current on the day I posted and nobody else had posted it. When I did a search on "Georgia", this particular thread wasn't listed.
