Ah, I see what they did here. The made it look like there will be lots of police activity with a play of numbers. But if you look , I-70 from St. Louis to St. Charles is 20 Miles. Normal Patrols if you ask me.

Missouri State Highway Patrol , normal operations are about 1-3 troopers per county.
What this equates to is about 1-2 troopers per each county highway in each county.
(Troop C Coverage Area)
I-270 - 2 Troopers
I-64 - 2 Troopers
I-70 - 3 Troopers
I-44 - 3 Troopers
I-55 - 3 Troopers
State 40/61 - 1 Trooper (could be combined into the I-64 highway patrols)
