Default Still No Radar For PA Local Police

The bill got defeated for like the 50th time. Republicans kicked it to the curb.

I don't blame them for voting against that amendment... let the anti-texting movement and the radar movement stay in their own separate bills. Just throwing it into an existing bill is an inefficient way of getting it passed.

Kinda good being that they aren't going to add another tool towards enforcing speed. But also bad because we all will still have to watch out for the undetectable VASCAR and ENRADD.

It can come up again... if I read the article correctly, this wasn't a specific bill that was reviewed; it was a last-minute amendment to the texting bill. In other words, it sounds like it was new legislation, not one of the previously proposed bills.
