    Default CR8APL8 beats close inspection

My CR8APL8 got past some very tight inspection this morning. I got pulled over for failure to signal properly. (I'll post the vid tonight) and the supervisor noticed the front and rear plate didn't match. But what he didn't notice was the front plate was a dummy.

However, he was very proud of himself that he caught the different numbers.

By "different numbers" do you mean the font of the numbers or the actual numbers are different?

I still haven't ordered my new CR8APL8 so I'm running my old one of the Vette. This should have been a bigger deal than it was but I think after they saw the scanner and the camera and all my antennas they figured I was in the street racing scene and run a dummy plate with different numbers to throw off call ins. I should have been ticketed for it, it very illegal to run plates from a different car.

Yes, failure to properly signal. As I'll post tonight on my report with the Video this afternoon. In Texas you can't just hit your signal and move over. You have to signal intent which amounts to a slight pause before you move over. So technically he was right. I can only assume I got the paper because of the other issues on my vehicle.

When I called my lawyer this morning with all the info he seemed largely unconcerned about any of it but it will costs me $80 and it could cost me another $100 when I get to court. The Turn signal is $180 as well but it's a moving violation so I need it dismissed.

Sry to hear that, if they ticketed everyone in ATL that failed to signal they could retire the national debt!!
Here if you signal the other guy speeds up to block you.

Texas DPS watch unsafe lane changing and no turn signals real close. These are asking a trooper to spot you out for speeding. Texas DPS have (OPERATION CARE) going on right now for speeding, seat belts,dwi's.. I have seen a trooper out every day coming or going home and they are being very selective with I/0.
I got blasted around a curve with no advanced warning i was going 74 before dark But he never gave chase.

So, the cops were too dumb to realize that not only were the numbers different, but the front plate isn't even legitimate?

If CR8APL8 is non-reflective and cuts down on lidar signature, I'm sold!

    Is it non-reflective, Erick?
