Default Expensive car w/ cheap radar detector

I went to a car show and happened to see these expensive looking Mustangs and Vettes that had Cobras and Radio Shack rd's on the window. I guess I am surprised to see cars like those that don't have a Escort, Bel, V1 or Whistler. This is not intended to put down Cobra users.

By the looks of things most people simply dont have a clue how detectors and speed traps work.

I see nice cars with el-crappo RDs in them *ALL* the time. Some examples:

    1. A modified Audi A4 in the parking lot at work, with a Crapra...

    2. A shiny new blue Mustang convertible, with a Crapra...

    3. I often see a Miata convertible in the parking lot, also with a Crapra in it. What's funny is, on nice days the owner leaves the top down. No one steals the Crapra, I wonder why...

    4. One time I was pulling out on to the main street near my house when I got a Ka alert. It came from an Audi A4 pulling out from the florist across the street, that clearly had an el crappo stuck to the windshield...

There's one benefit to all the Crapras out there... when someone with a Crapra on the windshield blows by me on the highway, I say "RABBIT!"
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

It's suprising how many people buy cobra detectors. I guess it's just the appeal that they have to the customers.

You could get cheaper detectors that are better..
