RX 65 VS Valentine 1

ok im trying to decide which one to buy i like the rx 65 because it has voice and per MR. Roy it is the "Hummer" but can anybody give me a little more feedback as to why i should get one or the other?? im confussed on which model to buy...

It is all a matter of preference, and different people will tell you different things. If the voice feature is a major point in your purchase, then the RX65 is for you. Basically put, the V1 is awesome on the highway, while the RX65 should be a little more quiet in the city.

Either way, you can't go wrong with either one

X2 to Elvato. V1 = highway, RX65 = city.

V1 in L Advanced Logic mode works fine in the city

V1 = Killer on X and K and good enough for Ka
Rx65 = Meah on X Bleh on K and bomb on Ka.

well i live in Cali so we have lots of KA so what i understand is that the V1 is beeter on the highway and the Bel is better in the city? well i do a lot of highway driving. so what o you guys think overall on a scale from 1-10 which one is the best ???

nice.. i have no idea how i would set something like that up. Damnit at first i thought the x50 was the best, then i heard the V1 was better cuz it has narrow band ka, now im hearing the rx65 is better? dude im about ready to buy the V1 just cuz it looks tight. The rx65 didnt look as tight to me, plus it dont have the arrows. I wish there was a way i could experience driving with them all and test them out and see which one i like.

V1 is the only way to go. Trust me. Buy it and you will thank me.

HSHARK, let me give you a suggestion. I have found out that radar detectors are like cars, some people swear by Ford while other swear by Dodge (yuk

). Do your research. I did a Google search for each model of detector and read the reviews.

"Chamber tests" are posted here on this forum. Just remember that in these tests the more negative the number, -118 (dBm) vrs -108 dBm, the -118 (dBm) would be more sensitive or able to alert sooner, theoretically the furthur away the detector will be able to give an alert. But this could also be a problem by alerting on more door openers.
