    Default STI compatible with ZR3?

    Hi -

I currently have an 8500 (red) linked to a ZR3 shifter. I am thinking of upgrading. Does anyone know if the STI is compatible with the ZR3 like the Passports are?

I like the stealth the STI offers, but also like the link with the Passport.

    Thanks

Wow, I had no idea, I am surprised they don't mention it on their site (or if they do they clearly don't make it easy to find).

Awesome - thanks. I am doing the 30 day trial for the STi and the 9500i and will buy whichever one works best for me.

I think the main reason they do not advertise it is compatible is because in essence Bel And Escort still act as seperate companies to an extent, so they probably don't want to reference the other in product information, to confuse the average customer (we know they are the same company but the average person doens't know this).

Also, the Zr3 was the product as the discontinued Bel Shifter .

    Vid worked for me.

It's cool that the STi works with the ZR3. I know the RX65 does anyway, nice that Bel retained that functionality in their latest generation.
