RD confiscated in Canada

Buddy of mine lost his RD in Canada last week. Trooper hit him with radar (he was doing the PSL) turned around, pulled him over, asked if he was running a RD. He was, a V1. Trooper confiscated the unit and gave him a $170 ticket.

Foolish us, but we both thought the V1's were stealthy......how'd he get him?
