Is V1 the only game in town that can do that?

rx65 has threat mode, which can do 1 of each x, k, ka.
x50 can track 2 k, 2 ka, 4 x.
that said, all detectors will track the highest threat (ka over k over x)
and if there are 2 k for instance, all of them should track the higher intensity one.
How about V1? What's the max # of threats it can keep track of?
I'm not sure about the v1 in terms of how many it can track of each. But I think it can only show the strongest at the moment, with a counter for all the others.Originally Posted by a529612
x50 supports 2/2/4 and shows signal of each
I want to say the v-1 bogey counter can go to 9 but its only going to let you know the greatest threat 1 at a time by the arrow and what band is blinking.
V1 Hands down :-)
Expert mode on the X50 is awesome. A few years ago it came in VERY handy. I was coming down a road and got a Ka alert. There was a LEO sitting in a gas station parking lot. As I passed him, I glanced at the Expert Mode display and noticed two bars. The first LEO's alert was declining and another was increasing rapidly. Sure enough, there was a LEO coming at me on the road also running Ka. If it weren't for the Expert mode, I would have thought that the alert was still coming from the first LEO.
nice save! although personally, I've found that very often, I'd always get 2 ka alerts when I do get them. I think this is called ghosting? I remember reading stalker duals cause this to happen, although I'm not positive. FWIW, NYSP are the ones I've seen these dual ka alerts fromOriginally Posted by wanderingmind
I like the bogey counter on the V1 because it alerts with a unique tone that it has picked up another signal. I used an Escort S2 for a while and I had to keep checking the display to see if another bar showed up. Correct me if I'm wrong..
The X50 will not ghost with stalkers. It does however ghost with 35.5 kustom radar units.Originally Posted by ziddey
