Default What will I need to be a stealth hog?

    My new car...

    Inside the car

    Front of the car

    Front view of the car

All I have in it now is the V1 mounted to the roof. I know I will be getting the blinder, but am wondering if there is anything else I should get. & were should I mount the blinder console?

Do you trust the suction cups?

I have mine mounted in the exact same place in my WRX because the visors are at an angle and the V1 won't sit level. It is extremely sturdy and has never fallen at all. I have always used visor clips in the past with my V1 and I hate suction cups and the marks they leave on my windshield and for thieves to see. I took my suction cups off and spray painted the backs of them with flat black paint to make them a little more stealthy. It is not as visible as when they were clear but I still intend to get a limo tint strip on the top of my windshield anyway. My car has 5% limo tint on the back 2 windows and the rear window and 35% on the front two so the V1 is pretty stealthy. By the way, the tint is the non-metallized tint so it doesn't affect radar range. I am not worried about laser detection decreasing at all because laser is not really used in my area. Most cops use constant on and instant on X and Ka band.

That's pretty much exactly where I mount mine, except I clip the visor clip onto the headliner instead of using the suction cups..

I once had the suction cups come off on my car, but that was the first time I put it on and I hadn't figured out that you really have got to press them flat. Either way, the cable held it up, so even if it does come loose no biggie. Oh, and ever since I started putting them on proper I haven't had them come off, and I turn with enough g's to test it out

Well yeah, the turning circle on my car that is only 1/10 of an inch shorter than the new 300C is like 10 meters...if you don't slide. I can do a U turn in a road that's got one standard size lane in each direction though. I noticed that the V1 comes with 2 spare sets of suction cups, and just now I noticed one is larger than the stock...I may be putting those on just to be safe.
