The best radar detector in the world the Stinger DSI know oferrs,among the other usefull aplications,laser jammer (LaserShield®).After some seconds (the number is to be set by you) this protection automatically ceases with the running out of the 'Shield-up' time. During stand still and low speed, the Laser jammer cannot be engaged.

This is seeming more and more like an advertisement post.

If I remember correctly the first video you posted the Pro 78 in that video was an older revision, Rev. B I think which we know that when the current Rev. C was released improved performance.

As for the 2nd well can't really make much out on it except blurry pixels and a bunch of high pitched beeping.

Besides from reading up on the Stinger DSI it really isn't so much a radar detector as it is a computer hooked up to a spectrum analyzer.

I did no tthink that the Stinger detected all 3 of the Ka bands used here in the USA. They did not have any plans to add that detection as the USA is not their market.

Has something changed?

Stinger Spectrum analyser DSi detects only K and Ka-34.3GHz.DSi has been around since 2003,so this is not a new device.It's RDD proof and is VERY expensive(1600€) This RD doesn't even have LO's.This thing also has False List(EURO version of tru-Lock),but it's FAAAR more sophisticated than Escorts Trulock.False List doesn't block 30MHz chunks of K-band to keep your RD quiet.Not to be a smart ass or bash Escort,but the technology behind False List(remembering&muting false K-band signals) years ahead of Escorts.Would you believe that DSi computer alerted to MultaRadar-C operating on K-24.104GHz while the transmitter of the door opener was False Listed(trulocked..lol),but was previously tuned by hand(read:screwdriver) to 24.104GHz to match MultaRadars signal and the DSi still alerted to MultaRadar-C.Now thats impressive...but so is the price.Stinger DSi Spectrum analyzer is w/o doubt THE MOST sensitive RD ever produced.So far none of the competition was able to beat it.

BTW,nickstath that wideo with Pro-78 and DSi was produced by a very famous con artist.That vid has no value to me,because that guy has a HUGE agenda.Oh yeah you forgot to mention the most revolutionary thing that Stinger is just about to release.Jammers that mount to the side of the car to jam Autovelox or Velomatic laser device.This is the first product that offers protection against mobile Autovelox.
