Default Nissan 370z Track: Any issues with Infiniti-esque falses?

I tried searching but couldn't find anything here, and I don't feel like digging through all the flash-based nonsense I'm likely to find on the official websites to figure it out, but are there any known issues with false alerts from whatever adaptive radar laser annoying robot-driver obliviot nonsense feature all the Inifinitis have with regard to a 370Z Track model? I assume the Z probably doesn't even have whatever idiotic feature it is that causes us all the aggravation, but figured I'd check here just to be sure.

My father in law has finally realized that he needs some protection for his new toy and I just wanted to confirm that there aren't any issues that I'm unaware of before I sit him down and give him the V1 vs. ix vs. ci breakdown...

    Thanks!

According to the website, the Z series does not have an adaptive cruise control system. AFAIK, only Infiniti models currently offer this.

I don't own a 370, but I watched the release closely and read all the info I could find.....

No mention of adaptive cruise control that I recall.

    Perfect! Thanks!

Just out of curiosity, does having an adaptive cruise control system interfere with a RD in one's own car or just cause problems for every other RD user on the road?

I would expect it to cause problems in your own car as well as others. (reflections and all)

Cool car. I'm getting a 2010 sometime soon if they have worked out the '09 oil cooling problems and one other glitch I can't recall right this second. Just deciding between the Track and the Nismo.

The aftermarket has already "fixed" the oil cooling problem. It's just a matter of Nissan selling the cars with the external cooler standard. (or at least make it "standard" part of the sport package.)

I have also heard it could use a diff cooler as well.

^ Isn't it like a $500 fix though? I want Nissan to fix it. I have not been to the Z forums in awhile. Seems to me there was some other issue ... paint flaking in a certain spot I think.

I have not heard about paint on the 370, but it was definitely a corner they cut on the 350. My paint gets chips if you look at it for too long.
