So on the MPH website, they have...
"Stealth Mode defeats jammers and detectors. It also identifies the type of jammer. "
How does that work? Also I was under the impression that you couldn't shoot LIDAR through a window. Obviously I was wrong.

nevermind, found my answer, thanks GOL
FYI, it's Laser Atlanta guns that have stealth mode. MPH resells the LA guns so that they can include "lidar" in their product list.

Active Countermeasures: V1 3.858, Escort Redline, Beltronics STi-R+, LI Dual 7.1x CPU/8.7 Heads (front)
Other/Backup Countermeasures: V1 3.813 (loaned to friend), Beltronics Pro RX65 M4 6.3
Vehicle: 2002 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro
LEO Toys: Kustom Pro Laser II & III
Encounters/Saves August 2011: Radar 3/1, Laser 0/0
Stealth mode is easy to jam and the V1 has no problems detecting it either.
LEOs don't tend to use stealth mode because: 1) it's not a default, they have to access a special menu in the gun to activate it; 2) it slows down the ability to get a speed; 3) many of the latest detectors and jammers have been updated to detect and jam it. Stealth mode isn't so stealth anymore.
