I've seen this on V1s, but never on a Belscort.
My 9500ci has given both Ka and X band alerts to my Bushnell K-band gun.
When you have a strong radio source very close by, it's possible for the signal to "bleed" over and be falsely detected in adjacent bands. This is probably also why the V1 "ghosts" on strong signals.
