I've noticed a few times in the morning that I get a strong instang-on like signal with my rear arrow in the same place? Could this be a camera on the highway doing this?

We need a lot more information. Where does this happen? Is it K Band? How often does it alert?
It happens so quick it catches me off guard. It's either K or Ka on the highway one blast at the same place, but not every time I go by. By the time I stand on my brakes to react it's gone. It's my rear arrow and it's all of a sudden full tilt, then the meter goes down a little then gone. It happens in the same place about once a week. Not sure if it's a specific lane or not but I was in the middle lane around 5:45 in the morning on the highway. No LEO in site?
Got hit again this morning same place.
Are there any buildings off the highway in the area? If it's K band it could be an automatic door sensor on the building.
If it's Ka, that's more mysterious. Maybe a satellite dish on a building, though you usually have to be close to those to get a Ka false from them. Maybe a well hidden LEO, though you'd probably have spotted him by now. Or a parked car with a Cobra left on.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!
If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

Sounds like a k band drone like the ones on the 101 here in California. The k band drones here fire an instant on blast every 10-15 seconds that last about 1-2 seconds. I have experienced these in other states also Ohio, on I-70 for example.
Dj had pics of these, maybe he could post one so you know what to look for. They are mounted on poles similar to a traffic monitoring camera.
I think it's a drone, I know it's not a LOE. It was K band, I looked around for a pole or something but didn't see one. I know if get on Buckeye Traffic it will tell me the speed of traffic all around dayton on the highways. I think it may be monitoring traffic speed for the signs to tell you how long it is to the next city and the web site.
