    Default Redline or RX65?

I currently have a very old Beltronics V955. It's served me well, and seems to still work fine. I would however like to upgrade. First, my routes. I drive about 20 miles of twisty mountain roads(84 and Pescadero Creek Road), where there's rarely any radar action. Usually it's just the occasional CHP with C/O. I had one encounter, where it was a moderately tight corner, and I didn't pick the CHP up going the other direction until it was almost too late. The other 25 miles is almost all freeway, but not straight and flat(280), but rather somewhat hilly, and curvy. The remainder is a 4 lane expressway(Lawrence Expressway). All along 280 I get constant falses from those stupid K-band drones, and of course, Audi's. 99 percent of the cops I encounter are using C/O Ka band. Laser is rarely used, and I'll worry about that at a later date, with a jammer.

I'd like something that will filter out all the K-band "junk", and provide decent off-axis detection. And yes, I know it depends on a specific set of conditions as to how well, if at all, the off-axis detection will work. My question is, can I get away with the cheaper RX65? Or am I better off saving the cash for a Redline? I've been searching for days, and still can't decide. TIA!

if your choosing strictly between the RX65 or the Redline, go with the Redline, however you could look into getting a 9500ix or GX65 to help with the false alerts. But the redline will defiantly have better detection than the RX65

Great, thank you! I was kind of leaning towards the Redline anyways. lol Are there any cheaper($250 or less range) RD's that would be worthwhile? The GX65 looks good, but it's only a little cheaper than the Redline, so I'd rather spend the extra to get the top RD at that point.

Thank you, will do! Works out well, as I was going to buy from radarbusters anyways, due to all the rave reviews.
