    Default Rayee F18 Conqueror

    Hey guys, quick question.

This company Rayee offers this ridiculous detector with band seg and apparently a ton of other features. What have people heard of them? I got a quote of $75 per unit for their windshield mount detector. Want advice, deciding between one of these and something else?

For $75, maybe you could test one for the rest of us.

I see these sold in bulk lots directly from China. Who know what they are. They could be a replica of a name brand sold here.

Radar Roy met with a rep from Rayee at CES 2009. I'm choosing not to comment on it so you can take it for what you will..

I think the language barrier seriously altered radarroys interpretation of what the promoter said. I think he at one point was discussing an auto-mute feature that would prevent noise alerts under 50km per hour. which makes sense. not saying that his detector could detect out to 50 km?

but anyways, i don't think i will be buying after seeing video posted below

Testing one would provide closure on the issue. Like the CT-12 laser jammer, you never really know unless you try it in that case the product actually has some merit for its cheap price. In this case I wouldn't hold out much faith though, because I believe the reviewed Ghost Pro is made by this company. If you do some searching there are quite a few chinese detectors available for import.
