So i was thinking about picking up a Midnight special 250 linear amp usually runs $120 but think he will sell for like $80-90 maybe what do you guys think should I go thru with it

$ 80 - $ 90 bucks sounds like a really good price. I've seen them going in the $ 140- $ 150 range. I don't know what antenna you are using, but I would recommend the Wilson 1000 or a good firestik.

Hell, even $120 is a good price! At less than a hundred bucks, I'd go for it.
