I'm pretty sure AACounty in MD are encrypted, one day I tried to listen in on my trunked and saved channels and got nothing but static, reprogrammed it with the updated lists of frequencies and haven't had a problem since. This was May 09 I believe.I have some bad news for St. Louis City Police listeners.....
It has been said that this year "ALL POLICE COMMUNICATIONS" will be encrypted this year. The exact date was not noted.

Nah, they already had gone to digital, at least I'm pretty sure because I had to reprogram it back in 2005 when they upgraded. I'll look into it a bit and get back to you, but I think they have gone to encrypted.
