The app & hardware are available for beta-test if your reside in SF/Bay Area (CA). The request for beta-testers on this forum is placed to extend the program to other geographical areas.
...
I mount above the RVM and have been pulled over 6 or 7 times now, I think, and not once has an officer mentioned it. If I was ever ticketed for it I would take a picture from the view of the driver...
Out here most of CHP hide on onramps where there is a hill so it is impossible to see the officer without using your RVM. Since this limits the number of spots they sit at I often have an easy time...
Actually that's extremely possible, as the RDs leak from the horn and the alert is only present right in front of the windshield, which appears to be reflecting the leak right back into the detector....
Or you're like me who got a speeding ticket while going 10 under the limit but apparently because it was raining it was considered dangerous conditions. I near immediately went out and bought an RD....
Depending on how long ago he did it, a lot of sites will review it for bad langauge and such before posting it.
So I posted some reviews regarding rmr... false claims, blah blah blah...
And instead of...
Out here CHP use 34.7 and local use 35.5. I've literally obtained a 4 mile range a couple of times (mainly i-5) from 34.7 but 35.5 I usually get a reading right out of sight to already in sight. This...
It would be cool if guys of lidar got their hands on one of these military grade detectors to compare to consumer radar detectors.
34.5
I've also seen officers running both rear and front radar where it is like 34.701 and 34.702 like dead accurate.

That was written and lobbied by a Republican. Go to his web page. He even brags about it ffs. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Just because we have a president that is part of X...
I can't find any bills trying to ban detectors. Is there something I'm missing? This sounds like pure propaganda to me. Not only that, but all of the previous RD laws in the last 20 years or so have...
It isn't that detecting the waves off of a cop is hard but more it is hard to identify since normal drivers emit the same freq often. The big question is: how do you identify which signal is the cop?...
If I had a v1 it would drive me nuts! It beeps to much...
You have to think about what you want. Do you want something that can detect radar 4 miles out or something that can detect 3 miles out and...
Fight that ticket! If the officer shot you and you where not in line of sight then how can that be accepted as with out a doubt forensic evidence? Also, it sounds like there where other people on the...
You could say that. I get PISSED but I don't tell anyone about it. I bought my rd (rx65) 2 days after my first ticket.
Also, I'm amazed about the whole v1 thing. I can't imagine myself touching a...
I'm not that much of an rd buff but a good number of rds show pop hits as an immediate full ramp reading instead of saying pop right? So it is hard to identify between pop and IO since both have the...
gotta love CA. turn off K and X and you're set. ;)
i love my 65 cuz how well it filters out falses. being in cali and only worried about chp i turn off k and x and no annoying beeping. even if it has that quick startup option my boyfriend still asked...
i've never 'outbraked' io before. as far as i know it is impossible but i have 'outbraked' lidar once. talk about lucky!
Motorist beats 98mph speeding charge - by buying back his car and proving it can only manage a top speed of 85mph | Mail Online
kind of neat. something tells me this wouldn't work here in the USA.
that is what i was thinking, lol
i also like how they don't mention the brand name. that right there is a red flag in my mind. even if i didn't know anything about rds and was looking to buy one i...
