Lol the "traditional" way is to lay it on top or bottom of the head, trust me I used to do it that way with mine and it was a pain everytime...

BAH! So it turns out my heads still aren't level. It's pretty close, but not level...which I assume isn't good enough.

The problem is that the grill is slanted downwards and just barely fits the LI, and i've tried to get it level, but it's so tough. How have other people got it level? Any ideas folks? Thanks!

I use folded pieces of sheet plastic found in many retail packaging, hobby shops such as Michaels and on the Internet.

Thanks Cliff - I'm about to head out to home depot to buy a Dremel. Here's my plan.

Imagine the laser head sitting on the grill (on the bottom). Because it's angled, I can't get it level. So if I use a dremel and cut off the "back half" of the plastic, I can tilt it a bit...that's my plan anyways....ugh what a PITA...but hey, if it works, i'm good.

I ran into the same problem too, if you use 3M tape, just double stack in some areas to balance it...

Sigh believe me, i've tried. I even tried triple stacking, but then it won't fit...lol. The double stacking i'm doing now, but it's still not level =(

I dont think it'd be a big problem off level by a hair, at least make sure the bubble is not sitting more than 1/3 pass the boundaries.
