I'm not too worried about getting shot at from the rear.

Honestly, all of my encounters with LIDAR have been head on. That's why I bought the M45, the more heads the better.

Now I just need to save up some cash and get a better detector, but the Whistler does the job for now. I like the Bel or Escort remotes, but wow, they really charge a lot for those! Yikes!

Under the dash on the drivers side. There isn't a lot of areas where one can go through the firewall in a late model Silverado but they do have grommet areas you can drill through in the floor near the door sills. Nice!

I ran all 4 head wires up through the floor using a rubber grommet and then siliconed the crap out of it to seal out any water. I then made sure I had some of that ridged wire protecting tubing and placed all the wires in that all the way up and inside the engine compartment. Then just wire tied everything off. Nice and neat!

Control module is attached using the same 3M double sided tape I used for the heads. Ain't goin' nowhere! :-)
that sounds good!!! nice and clean is a great way to go.. when you open the hood looks factory thats the same way i do all my electrical in the car

I used the black corrugated conduit too. You cant tell the jammer wiring from the factory wiring. I was going to post the pics but unless you know what to look for you cant see the wiring
