sending x50 back to test v1 out

i just order a v1 and will be calling in the morning for a return authorization to send my x50 back. this isn't because i'm displeased with the x50, i just want the best and want to see how the v1 does.

in your opinion, how does the v1 compare to the x50 in k and ka band?

instant on?

range?

i had an x50 for awhile before making the switch, what made me do the switch was i got a ticket with the x50 by a laser, only thing is the thing never went off at all... i made the switch and only incounterd false lasers but falses still make me feel better when the time does come.. now its just time to get me them jammers!

I have both i wanna say it seems like the KA over all instant on and full blast x50 seems better.....as far as K band i think its a tie.
X50 is alot more silent in the city to which is nice.

There both good....youll like the arrows though.

I have both, and prefer the X50.

To be honest it really doesnt matter what detector of the top-3 you have, they are all so close.

Also putting this in the V1 section... and asking which is better the X50 or the V1 doesnt make much if any sense, your asking for one-sided opinion(s).

Deadhead282... Just like you said... unless you have a jammer you are going to get owned by laser V1 or X50 (scatter is a slim chance... if any), so by buying the V1 for laser you set yourself back ~100bucks, (50 bucks if it was blue)... on your way to getting a jammer, you will still get owned by laser with the V1.

-Not saying it was a 'bad' move persay, because the V1's laser detection is better, but keeping the X50 and having a jammer (the extra 100) would be exponentially better (against laser) then having a V1 by itself.

I had an X50 went to a V1 and am going back to the X50 because the X50's range seems so much better. Last week I encountered about 10 state troopers on a 200 mile stretch and the V1 (in all bogeys mode) just was not picking them up from nearly as far away as I've experienced with the X50. Maybe my V1 needed to tested or something, but really there was no comparison to me.

the arrows just don't make up for the range...but do your own comparison.
