V1 and Xenon lights and HIDs

Hi all,

i was on route 80 (a highway in NJ)

this was aobut 8 pm and my V1 all of a sudden went crazy on Laser not a cop in sight anywhere...looked around nothing...

i did notice behind me that there were Xenon lights and my car has HIDs which when reflected off of blue cars i get laser readings any ideas...i dont like this i get faults like theses any 1 know if this is tru?

I've gotten false laser from cars that I think have laser cruise control, especially Infiniti FX35/45's

A friend of mine says he get's it from certain led's taillights.

look at it from a good thing, it shows that your V1 has amazing laser sensitivity

Anything that falls under 820 - 950 nanometers will cause an alert on the V1.

okay so everyone gets this problem...

yea i am glad it goes off i just switched from an Escort 8500 X50 and am so glad i did especially driving a porsche

What Porsche do you have? Dont worry I know how to pronunce Porsche the right way. lol. I had a 1987 951 - black on black. I really miss that car.

Very sweet. I used to sell Porsche's and Audi's and I would love to have a Ceyanne or even a Turbo. What dealer did you buy it at? I sold a quite a few of those Porsche's just before I left the business.
