The new versions are quite sensitive to laser. They give "false" alerts to wind shear monitiors at airports, Infinity cruise control and some older GM third brake lights. You do not however get alot of laser falsing. It's one of those in the right place at the right time things. I will say this much, the V1 is very good on laser AND it gets your undivided attention when it alerts. Oh and you can program the V1 to be fairly quiet. Mine is as quiet as my X50.
The reprogramming process is not as mind numbing as some would lead you to believe. Scott

I have noticed that it seems almost everyone that bought that one is sending it back.
People say the V1 is too chatty but with proper reprogramming it is actually quieter, except on laser, yet more information.

Amen. get into the "reprogramming" mode (option 7) if K band "non LEO" alerts bother you.

are advance logic and logic modes only affect xband? What if i want to turn x off then should i use All bogey mode?

Then you can use either all bogey mode or logic mode. Using logic mode, will activate the k band auto mute (if you have it programmed) and using the A or all bogey mode, will not mute activate the k band auto mute.
