Valentine One Users: Speed Cheetah is your best friend.

I got to demo the current working revision of the Cheetah GPS mirror at SML this weekend and it's amazing. There are 2 awesome features that you'll really appreciate.

In Dover, DE where I used to live this would have been priceless. Basically, for 5+ miles you have every store in the town setting right next to the road. The speed limit fluctuated from 25MPH to 40MPH. And the V1 would go from 5 to 9 bogeys the whole time.

Well, with the Cheetah mirror all you would have to do is set it to filter out your alerts until you drive over anything you could imagine but I would of used 45. So just like that your V1 now acts like a 9500i. The only problem I found with this is it DOES filter out Ka as well. However it does not filter out Laser. I made a request to please allow it to report Ka, so I've got my fingers crossed that gets changed.

Another neat feature you can have the mirror just say the band it detects. So it would say K band, then that's it no more tones.

If I still owned a V1 this would be a must have!

Is it easy to change from the filtered mode to the unfiltered mode?

X2 I would be more inclined to purchase the mirror if I could see an actual V1 in use and how it works.

Do you plan on getting one and using with your STi?

I'm thinking about getting this with my RX65. And that was before i new ab out this speed filter. This sounds like an amazing product. It seems that it is everything that we have been asking a RD company to make.

I saw the mirror by itself and used with the BEL rx65 and Escort 8500 x50 and loved this device I was sold on getting this mirror until I spent $100 per ticket to see the reunion Dispatch concert. Maybe towards the end of the summer I'll have one of these devices

I am trying to find a V1 3.813, then after I find one I'm going to get the mirror and run it for about a month. If that works out I'll have found my replacement for the Belscorts.

If not I'll be sticking with the STi, 9500i combo.
