Default How satisfied are you with your Valentine One?

It would seem that if you have a Valentine One you know what it is all about. But there are those that do not have one and may be on the fence. Here is a Poll that maybe can help.

I could not be any happier with my 3.813 it is doing an outstanding job. I would not consider using anything else.

Yeah, I definitely love mine. It's not perfect, but I don't think I would ever be as happy with the features of another detector, plus with all the laser around here, I just wouldn't trust any other current detector to protect me.

I've owned many BELs, and have tried the ones that I don't own, and they do make some good RDs. But for me, the V1 rules!

The V1 is the best choice for the professional speeder!

I recently got my 3.813 back from VR (they had to recalibrate it to get it back to spec). I've turned off X and programmed K alerts with 30 sec & 4 bar delay and run it in 'l' mode. I was expecting a lot chattier V1 (over the Bel 995/955 in AutoScan mode), but it's been doing great so far.

    Like tonyspin, what I like:
    1 Arrows
    2 Boggy counter
    3 Boggy lock tone
4 Laser performance - haven't encountered laser yet but I am sure it will do great (it's really moot because I do have jammers on both cars)
    5 Audio ramp up
    6 Remote display

    Don't like:
1 Only red LEDs (especially for the band identifiers)
2 Not enough distinction in X & K band audio (at least compared to the Bels which is a lot more distinct)
3 Lack of a complete remote/stealth installation option

Use time with the V1 is just 1 week, so I didn't vote Excellent yet.

LittleOverPSL: Depending on your area and if you have used a 3.813 in the past or this is your first. If you have had it forever then excuse my ignorance and ignore me.

however, on mine I am keeping X enabled with no advanced programming and in Big L mine is doing a great job of filtering. I have to keep X enabled because they are a few left around KY although few and far between.

But if you have never tried this give it a shot for a run through the city and see what you think.
