Default A week into my V1 ownership

I love this thing. I realize I said the same thing about the 9500i as well, but I just love this thing. Plain and simple. I had tried the V1 before (v. 3.854) and returned it because it seemed to really not live up to my expectations and was entirely too chatty for me, but VR really seems to have come a long way. I have yet to find the need to run this in anything but A mode on my daily commute, and with the exceptions of a few brief falses (which are all about 10-15 minutes apart), it is quiet. Last night it showed impressive range on Texas DPS' C/O Ka (had an 18 wheeler pulled over on the off ramp). I ended up only locking out one location with the 9500i, so that ended up really not being an issue to me. The month that I was trying it, I couldn't push the idea out of my head to try the V1. Even after I was told I'd be charged $50 if I returned it, couldn't push the idea out. And I love it. I love the design. I love the mounting bracket. I love the arrows. I love the bogey counter. I love the steady ramp up. I'm in love. I think I am. What is happening to me? Dammit guys. You didn't warn me about this!

I plan on getting it hardwired after my next payday, still not sure about the concealed display though. If I get one, I'd love one from REBinc, but I want there to be as little wires as possible showing and I'm just not sure yet about anything being drilled or done to my 2 month car.

just look for a part in the dash that can seperate and "shave" just a lil off to have wire be trapped when ran through. invisible to the naked eye, and still accomplishing what you hope to accomplish.

How? I have absolutely zero knowledge when it comes to car systems/installs. Also, my car has side curtain airbags that I'm afraid I'd deploy when tucking the cord.
