a squawking V1 after a tuneup. I don't care about falsing (especially x band) when the unit has been totally silent for a long time on radar. Laser alert has been working fine as my local PD uses that a lot!

Still can't believe I've been radar blind this long. But a few Ka tickets convinced me to spend the money to get the unit checked out. Every one of them had absolutely no alerts when I was pulled over.

After tuneup, 2.8 mile alert for a construction zone K-band speed sign that I've passed many times in 9 months without a squawk and tonight the unit was squawking. Multipe Ka saves for tonight's trip and one nasty instant on save that had my passenger checking the seat belt. Those were about 1/2 mile warnings.

Thanks to the many forum posts that convinced me something was wrong.

But there is "quiet", and then there is "too quiet" When you are passing cops right and left, and even getting radar tickets without any alerts, that is "too quiet"! If that's normal for you, you're in trouble!
