Default a-bond remote V1 kit (arrived today) pics

    I got the a-bond remote V1 kit

    Got it for 2 reasons

    1) Don't fancy going to court
    2) Don't want some thieving scum robbing it

    Haven't fitted it yet.

I am totally confused buddy, How do you get the rear antenna to work on that?

wouldn't one have to mount it "below" the car for you to be able to get rear reception and use the arrows???

Apparently it works not sure how well but see below.

A-Bond systems Radar Detectors Laser Jammers speed trap countermeasures.

I'll keep you posted! frontal detection is all i really need but as I said i'll road test and see if i'll run it full time.

As for mounting in bumper away from radiator.

Pretty neat! One remote installation apparently drops the detector down below the front bumper when in use. Now I see how.

    Very nice!

    X2^

looks very nice and the V1 should be very well protected from any bumps etc, by the foam inside that box too. once its sealed up correctly, it should work well here

Do you have any pictures of your install? Or now that it is installed?

Looks to be a good stealth unit, cost of V1 + $300, some time and minimal loss in detection range from an in-car install.

You have lost rear laser detection, not a real issue, but you have also lost rear detection from the rear V1 radar antenna. That equates to loss in rear detection range and use of your arrows.

Even with just the front V1 antenna detection sensitivity should be good plus stealth to thieves, so no problem.

I did not see where the remote unit would mount to an Lnh-20 or Lnh-20/30 drop down mechanism, therefore I would assume it will only be a stationary mount at the front of the vehicle, correct?

Yup it would be stationary mounted. Sorry lads I haven't had a chance to install her yet and it looks like it'll be another while as the weather is rotten!

I believe the rear radar attena will work to some extent. Not worried about rear laser as I've jammers to help there

    I'll keep you posted!

Can't wait to see the install pics and a review of how it works. Your radar reception may be better than before based on how well the belescort remote mounts work.
