v1 remote question

is it possible to hook a standard ear piece/headphone phone, straight up to the v1 remote socket with the apropriate plug/jackpoint
i want it for a motorbike but it seems a pain (and a pain in the wallet )to have the main RD, then a remote, then plug into with ear piece.
its another thing to mount in the fairing of the bike
can the audio signal be seperated from outlet on the main rdector

any thoughts :?

The audio is passed through the jack to the audio adapter, so it can be heard without the adapter. However, it might not be as simple as connecting the correct wires to your earpiece...you may have to create your own adapter, and it is most likely too complicated for it to be worth the money you save(or the space).

does anybody have a breakdown or know what the series is in the jack point
eg one must be power,earth and audio????
people make there own directwires/hardwire so if i have this info then i could try myself

You will need to purchase the remote audio adapter. There is not a pin on the connector for audio, only power, ground, data, and mute. There is a pinout of the connector on the schmatic of the circuit that is used with my V1 interface software:
