    Default Getting Rid of V1

I have had my V1 for about a month and a half and I think I am going to get rid of it. It ghosts a lot but I do notice a slight difference in detection range but not enough to deal with all the falses....I should be able to unload it on ebay easy..It's in perfect shape and I have a color remote display and custom mute button...Any suggestions on what I should ask for it once I list it....I have not put it up yet but was just looking for input.

I would recommend you keep it. But if u do want to sell it I would suggest ~$325 because of the colored remote display.

You'll probably fetch close to $400 with the colored CD and mute button, so long as you have eveything it came with.

    Better luck next time.

Thanks for at least giving it a try!

So the range wasn't worth the falses, but was the extra half a month worth it? You could have given it back to VR.

Well, I have to agree that the extra distance is not enough reason alone to go with a V1. The 9500 performance is fine in that respect. Now, if the 9500 had the reaction time of the V1, and could pick up quick-triggered I/O worth a darn, it might be a contender. But between totally missing I/O shots and locking out K-band shots, that's just way too much risk out of a $500 dollar detector that can't even give me a clue where the LEO might be.

Does the XTR do better on I/O shots than the 9500?

    Wow, that was quick.

And you had ghosting out of a new one?

    What software version?

Ghosting does not bother me, if it's 1 or 10 threats you still have to slow down.

I was looking to buy a v1 a month ago and ended up buying direct with valentine. My experiance with buying used v1 from eBay was older v1 selling over 340. With your new v1, display, and remote audio, I think you should sell at least 430 if you include your recipe. What you are selling is exactly what I bought but paid over 550 for. I should have waited.
