That's exactly what I have concluded myself, thanks.

There is no reason to be deaf and blind when you can be just deaf if you want to.

My conclusion is don't use Big L with K Automute.

I'm gonna run as you suggested and then try Big L again with K Automute off.

This sounds like a good way to set it.

I just wish there was an automatic way for the V1 to go into Big L in certain areas.

Advanced Logic mode DOES effect Ka if you have Ka automute on (it supresses instead of mutes in Big L mode).
    Which option is Ka automute?
There is no option for KA automute as you should be paying attention to all KA alerts. It does suck that there's no automute for X band though. I can't turn it off because Ohio still uses it, and I've encountered it a couple of times, but they're few and far between.

Also, in my previous post a couple posts up, I forgot to say run in regular logic mode, but I think you guys knew what I was saying, LOL.
If enough of us ask them for it, maybe they'll impliment it.

I know you don't have one, but one of those remote mute buttons they (aftermarket sellers) sell would be handy. Just a push and hold of a button and it'll change. Unless you constantly need to switch, then it'd be a pain.

If they are Little l, I'm very concerned, if they were Big L it makes sense and I'm not too concered, my current plan is in Cips signature.

Basically it shows the alert supression differences between A mode and Big L mode.

It's in the Sticky Archive now. And that was a comparison between A and Big L. If you use Little L the results will be the same as in A.

If you are concerned just run it in little l, that way it will show you the alert just not the audible tone.

As for the title im not so shure if there is a difrence? "Is Big L mode safer than a 9500ix with Autolock on?"

Tell me what you guys think about this and explain to me what the difference is. Assuming the amount of time passing a false is the same.

9500ix, locks falses for ~1/4mi usually passing the false in 30-45 seconds.

V1 can mute K band for 30 seconds Big L.

Now i could just as easily miss alerts in that area with ether RD if im not actively attentive. So what would be the advantage for ether one?
