automatic door openers

im sitting at a wal mart right now waiting for my girlfriend. The v1 is as silent as all hell. Im parked about 15 feec from the automatic doors. I have everything turned on on the v1. Anyone have suggestions as to whay type of automatic opener is used?

imm in maine by the way. V1 was working good all day aswell.

It should be K band. Mine always goes off when I go passed the Walmart by me.

Is K-Band programmed 'on"?
Are the doors opening & closing? I had one (not Walmart) that threw me off. The doors were open and stayed open the time I sat and waited on the wife. I concluded something was wrong because I always got an alert at this parking lot. Folks walked in & out and I never saw the doors close. I figured they were having some problem so they stuck open the doors for the customers.

X2 Not every Walmart uses radar for their doors. The new Walmarts near me don't.

As stated above, I had everything turned on, on the V1. It must have been optical like you say, but down the road I got full blast K from the Walgreen's drug store.

It was kind of nice actually.... silence! But I love hearing that V1 on the open highway!!!

its probably magic..... lol no its most likely optical sensors or something expensive since walmart is hella rich

Interesting, had no idea optical door openers existed, hopefully we'll see more and more of these so we won't have so many falses
