You're probably right, except there's also the quick trigger and bogey counter issues.
Don't forget Escort will have to engineer a new platform with front and a "real" rear receiver.
There's not going be a Bel-entine dash model

    a 9500ci or STi-R PLUS - with arrows - $2,300 (US)
unlikely we'll ever see one of those . . . either

I drive through Atlanta, Ga. on the downtown connector and I usually get 7 bogies at once on my V1 as I drive past Grady Hospital which is next to the highway. All that testing equipment being used at the hospital triggers the alerts. It happens every time and it drives me crazy. At least I know the V1 is working.

Absolutely smoked an AL state trooper Sunday. Got around 2.5 miles of warning from his C/O Ka. He was parked on the right shoulder facing with traffic, shooting rear and forward facing. Nice detection, especially since it was raining/misting outside.

Dig this! My wife said I wasted my money on the V1. Now everytime we go for a long haul she wants it in her F150.

True , but there is a reason why some cant use the v-1 : rdd

Gotta love the V1. I feel beyond blind everytime I dont have mine in my car when I go for a drive. Some people complain when it beeps for falses (I usually have the volume at nearly max) but I love it. Its just another form of eyes telling me what is going on around me.
