Default Audi Lane Assist = False Alerts?

Greetings: Still fairly new here, but a long time V1 owner.

I run in "lowercase l" mode most of the time, and aside from the occasional false laser alert from a Trailblazer, I have been pretty happy with the performance of the V1 (I desperately wish they would add GPS "tagging" capability for known false spots) overall.

However, I had an incredibly annoying encounter on my way home from work the other day (I-170 in St. Louis) where the V1 just went absolutely NUTS and I knew it had to be a false (multiple bogeys in ALL directions) but couldn't visually validate a potential source.

Then, during the flow of traffic and a few lane changes, I see a new Audi (S4, I think) and after I passed it, my troubles were gone.

So, are they know to cause such behavior? Through what almost assuredly had to be some sort of lane assist or intelligent cruise control feature?

    Thanks in advance,

    -R

If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

I have ACC and the Lane Assist feature on my Cadillac, and it doesn't seem to interfere with my V1. I guess I am one of the lucky ones, But I was behind a SL65 AMG BENZ and my V1 went haywire.

Yup, when I had an audi behind me the K band was being sent in bursts, freaking annoying...
