any advantage if you manually turn-OFF/ON your V1?
any advantage if you manually turn-OFF/ON your V1?
No, the only thing you accomplish is wearing out your knob and having to reset your volume when you turn it back on.
I have mine hardwired to a switched ignition circuit plus a kill switch. I never need to touch the knob.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!
If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

Nope, mine's hardwired. it turns on/off with the car
Ok so what if its not hardwired yet? Is it better to turn it off manually or leave it on when you turn the car off?
Never have to do it, hardwired with power window circuit and the window lock switch doubles as the kill switch for the V1.
Harwired and turns on and off with the car.
Mine is hardwired as well, but I do manually turn if off. I guess I'll just leave it on.
