Default Valentine V1 dangerous for my health?

I just got a Valentine V1 as a gift. I would like to install it in my car, but I am a slightly worried. Surely it can be good to have a device mounted on the windshield right next to my head emitted radar all the time.

    I am wrong?

Don't worry It's only receiving signals, not transmitting.

Radar detectors don't emit radar. Sometimes they leak small amounts but nothing to worry about.
Plus, police radar is in the electromagnetic microwave spectrum. Its not going to harm you unless you bathe yourself in it 24/7. Even then, cops who transmit radar all day dont have that much inccidence of cancer.

Your fears are wasted energy. Spend it on thanking the person who bought it for you.

    No, you're absolutely correct.

In the interests of safety, I'll be happy to take that hazardous device off your hands at no charge to you. Just PM me for the shipping address.

you have a better chance of a Cell Phone causing danger to your health then you do a radar detector.

Very true, but you have an even better chance of a radar GUN causing danger to your health (and wallet, and license, and ...).
