    Default V1 and ESP

So the cats out of the bag. The new 1.85 has the ability to be able to report all the reported bogeys and there frequency to a third party device plus god knows what else it’s able to do. Looks like all you bells boys are getting turn into custard again. Anybody else with more info on ESP

That is exciting although I already have that with belscort and report the alert locations to other users as well as false lock outs.

Who cares about telling everyone else when you don't know what side of your car is getting hit!

Is anyone else having trouble logging onto Radaractive.com? I can run the iPhone app, but can no longer get on the site. I have been trying to get the cable and box so I can run the app with my new V1.

Wishful thinking would have me say they have it down to announce their upgrade utilizing ESP. But the realist in me says its down because they did not renew the domain.

    Here's to wishful thinking....

You don't have that with Belscort. Name one single model that can display the frequency of each threat, the location of the threat, and the signal strength.

Only one detector has this capability, and that is the V1 version 3.892 or higher.

    WRONG.

It displays general x-k-ka radar frequencies as most every detectors now do.

Hopefully soon with ESP this will change finally.

Direction of the threat is moot because 9 out of 10 times the threat is ahead of you. You asked for location but I'm sure that you don't mean specifically since there isn't any RD that will do that unless a threat is displayed on a map such as with Escort Live.Live won't always be exact because the threat won't always be stationary. While the Passport IQ isn't Live compatible as of now it is the only RD that I know of that will display multiple signals, frequency and strength at the same time of each signal. Sure,it doesn't have arrows for direction but we all know that most threats are from ahead by an undisputed margin. If my V1s over the years had a counter the numbers for the front arrow would be in the thousands as compared to only a handful for the rear being first for a threat. The answer to your question is the IQ which is the only stand alone RD to do what you asked, obviously minus directional arrows. Add Live and you will have very close to location of a threat.
I do hope that something comes out for the V1 that will do these kinds things, especially lock outs because a fantastic detector will become fantastic...er

There is already an ESP product that displays the frequencies, direction, and strength of each frequency. Dashtronix does it.
