    Default V1 Connection LE

    From Sales at Valentine:

"The iPhone version is packed and ready to ship. We are waiting final approval from Apple. We will ship as soon as we receive the approval.

    Customer Service"

    Neat!

Your kidding? So Valentine wants $49 for the app and then they squeeze you for another $40 for the bluetooth device to connect the V1 to your phone? Incredible. If Mikey V. could ever get out of the 1980's he might consider adding bluetooth the the V1. But until I see pigs fly I won't be holding my breath. With all the doodads Mikey has come up with to stick on the V1 it's beginning to look like Norbert's school project.

Anyway, I was seriously considering sending my V1 in for an upgrade to the crystal version, but for what it's going to cost I can sell it on eBay and buy a new Max for a lot less money than I'd pay for a piecemeal V1 setup.

Am still waiting for the updated android??

The engineers are working on it. As with any design project, the completion date is not known as yet.

What functionality do you get with this if you don't update your V1 to ESP? Is it basically a concealed display for your iPhone? Kinda confused about this.

What the heck are you talking about? Sounds like you're just a V1 hater who is looking for any opportunity to rag on them.

Why does the V1 need bluetooth anyway? Do you want to connect your bluetooth headset to your V1 and chat with aliens?

(btw, yes I own both Escort Live SmartCord and V1Connection. Escort app sucks, and V1Connection is only good for device programming. Waze is much better than Escort Live)
