Purpose of Greater Off-Axis Range?

Is this future improvement to the V1's antenna(s) deal with only side to side reception or will it include vertical coverage as well?

Strange that no one responded. Turns out that my question was answered on another forum site and that is that the new designed horn will have a substantial increase in gain on all current bands covered in the current V1 version.
