V1 alerts

Does the V1 have a POP alert. I know it can detect POP, but when there is a POP detection, will it be different from a regular alert or will it just start out at a high signal instead of just one dot. Also, does the same go for VG2 alert and instant on? Thanks.

The POp alert on a v1 is just like a normal alert. If you are close to the source, you'll get a full strength alert that dies out quickly. If you are further away, it might not go all the way to full strength. Also occasionally it seems to only detect the "trailing end: of the POP radar or something, in those cases it might not go to full alert even if you are close.

There is no VG2 alert on the V1, but the V1 is VG2 immune because of it's design. Instant-On alerts will be very similar to the way I described POP above.

There is no POP alert on the V1!!!!It will appear to be like a instant-on alert.


Also there is no VG2 alert on the V1 the V1 is VG2 proof meaning it can't be detected by a VG2 system

First of all, turn pop off.

2nd of all, pop alert is the same as Ka band alert.

VG2 detection will give you no alert... VG2 is a non factor.

KU band will have that light on...but we will never see that

is it because it falses to much?

and would turning pop on let u detect normal Ka from further away cause it would pick up the weak signall or is on a different band

Only is the Ka radar gun used is the 33.8 otherwise it just adds a bunch of pointed falses....The range difference is so small its not worth the falses
