That was not that bad You never know when he actually activated his radar to C/O it could have happened half a mile in front of you. BTW Nice video

He did just come around the curve ahead and I was just going over the rise in the road(hill) as well when the RD alerted. I guess I'm just spoiled by the other good radar detections I've seen before.

Looking at Video it took you 23 seconds after the first alert before you met the LEO. Have in mind that you were moving at speeds of around 65mph i guess towards each other. At 65mph you were covering 95.33 feet per second or you got your first alert at around 2192.59 feet. And as i kept watching he did came around the curve
so i say is not bad at all. I believe you detected it him just before he came around the curve and as soon as he was on the straight you got full KA alert.

Agreed. You had plenty of time to slow down from the initial alert. Granted the detection wasn't as good as some of your other videos but there was the curve and I believe a concrete divider between lanes?

Not bad detection at all. I've seen less warning from my V1.

Looks like a good warning to me as well. Some warnings may be too late with any radar detector.

I think you guys are all correct. I don't know what I was thinking and probably expected too much in that situation.

P.S. I had to re-upload a shorter version of the same video, because Youtube removed the audio of the original upload.
