Yes, an officer can use instant on while driving.
Infact there is a power cord that attachs to the unit that the officer can have next to him for this very thing....
Thankfully, most officers lose the power cord extension within the first couple months, then get lazy and leave it on contant on

I got pulled over when a cop did this to me. He showed me how
he did it, he has little switch that he uses to get your speed, when
it isn't pressed there is no radar beam, when he pushes it up he can
get your speed when your infront of him, when he pushes it back and
you are behind him he can get your speed from behind.

I have personally gotten nailed with moving instant-on (coming the other direction) both in NJ (X band) and NM (K band.)

my Bro inlaws a cop hes got a "insant on" remote controled stalker unit think it makes donut's too :lol:

i hope I assume correctly that to use Laser they need to be stationary.....????

as of right now, laser cannot be used while moving.. must remain stationary.

Sethy my bro inlaw (the cop) tested my veil with his new stalker lazer gun. You would be impressed. i got a vid of the in car action (wife took it :( ) will try and post it but the tect side of it just may be out of my computing know how.
anyhow i can tell you that, if the laser gun is within 250m of your car your brown bread true. on the up side i got a hit on the 818 for 7 sec's at a distance he locked on at 272 meters. I was doing about 30 mhp the whole time. So it works well at a distance maybe better if the cars doing a greater speed. The veil guy is such a nice guy and a big help if you need help on anything he's there :D So when i say this i say it with the upmost respect for Bob, the small prob i do have with veil is what it does to my crome and head light distance. I do understand that the die hard speeder wouldn't give a toss and it's easy to remove (found high pressure hose best) My old 92 mercedes 300E has got a face full of crome so after even a light coat of veil it looks like its been aged 20 years :cry:. The number plates over here are white with black writing after veil they become a blue ink colour and are on the very border of becoming too much for the law to except. What are your thoughts on this subject :?:

Sorry, while using Veil on my car i was shot with a stalker laser (E2) .My V1 modle 1.8 solfware number 818 alerted me for seven sec"s
. the laser gun locked on to my cars speed at a distance of 272 meters while i was traveling at @30 mph. So if you were to be hit with laser while say within a range of less the 250 meters while you where using veil there be a good chance you would be caught that's what i found

Mate its True as in "true story" and brown bread as in toast you know...... "cooked" "your toast is cooked" Now we dont put jelly on our toast over here we put that on ice cream, on toast we put jam,honey marmite the list goes on but never ever jelly :mrgreen: Anyway Ill "up size it" next time
