for those that haven't seen it, we have a new sticky for newbies and anyone else in the market for a detector.
this thread will only work if everyone participates.

please go there and post.
http://www.radardetector.net/LOOKING-FOR-A-DETECTOR-READ-FIRST-BEFORE-ASKING%21-15551t.php

the more info the better, as it will avoid the same tired questions by newbies of "what should i get ?"

thanks.

x2. I think that this forum will be a much better place if we can weed out some of the questions that seem to come up every day.

the thread is looking good, but we need more help. with all the members we have it should be full of pages of good info by now.

help out your fellow detector users and buyers. :)

I couldn't help but notice that not very many people a participating. It would be nice if everyone could take a whole two minutes to just write a little bit about their favorite detector.

shared my 2 cents, people who own more than one detector please post as it will definetly help out a lot of rd buyers, and others who own one of the top three and would like to try something new

I wish more people would contribute pros/cons of their RD experiences.

yeah, we're getting some, but not as many as we should.

kinda surprising, since it's the one thread where people can state what they like and dislike without it turning into an argument thread by either camp.

X3 The more people post there facts on each RD, then we wont need all these BS postings on deciding wjich RD to get. :!:

Apparently we have a lot of people who want to use all of the info on this board, and ask a lot of questions, but who don't want to actually contribute anything.

I posted and updated.

Not everyone will buy a top 3... at least not at first. So (with mine) they can see a different option.

Once the top three are each covered by someone, there may be too much redundancy...

I agree...... I myself will start sharing more of my experiences with my X50 on this thread. That's what we're all here for, to help others and to talk about what we all have in common ( Radar Detectors & Jamming devices )
