For fully stealth, the color gotta be black as the STI is... just my 2-cent humble opinion, and everybody is free to disagree with me...
I got tinted windows, black STI with black visor clip, black sun visor, black visor organizor, hardwired, not in a million years you can see it from outside...

What makes it specifically designed for STi ? It's the dimensions of the holder that make STi the only one to fit in there or it's just a stealth mount for a stealth RD ?

I' m interested in Bel 550 cause this holder is exactly what I was looking for, now that RD's are illegal in Greece and I just hardwired my RD. With this holder, I have no windscreen mount, no suction cups, nothing suspicious.

The dimensions of the Beltronics RD's are almost the same so I believe there is no problem in using the holder for another RD. Just look at the numbers (used mm, SI unit):
