.....help me out on this one.......someone just mentioned to me that if you have a v-1 and it is an older version, if the owner sent it back to the manufacture, they would replace it?.....that is very hard to believe!.....(sounds like bs).........comments?............thanks!

They don't replace it,they can upgrade it for a certain fee depending on what upgrades you need..

......humn.....what can those costs run?...yea, i know it is subjective to what it needs but, even a ballpark figure would do........thanks!

You would have to call V1 and give them the serial # and they will take it from there..

Or go to http://www.valentine1.com/upgrades/ and it will tell you how much it would cost.
I think technically what they do is take your old unit and send you a new one right away so you don't have to wait as long. But that is just a guess.

Actually most of the older units are replaced outright ( for a cost, it is not free!) I do not think they reconfigure the unit that you send in for better turn-around time.
If the unit is one of the thick cased units, it is defenitely a full replacement.
Isn't it nice to have a unit without planned obsolecence?
You betcha!!

Sell your old one on Ebay & buy a refurb. You will come out ahead.

People buy refurbs all the time but Valentine Research isn't going to let you return a new V1 and buy it back as a refurb.
